History & Achievements
Growing Into The Heart of Hampton
After the amazing success of owning and running a group of day nurseries and the exciting founding of Inspired Women, before we even had the Hampton Inspired Hub built, we’ve just gone from strength to strength, achieving so many different things within our community and becoming the heart of Hampton.
Creating a Space for Everyone
The previous building, known as the MWB Club, has been gradually renovated to become something for everyone – with small rooms, large rooms, halls, nooks, and crannies. It means that the whole community can use The Hub in some way and enjoy the diversity of activities and support it offers.
Community Recognition & Referrals
Hampton Inspired Hub is recognised by the London Borough of Richmond, and referrals are often made by other charitable groups, food banks, or even social prescribing pioneers, such as doctors and counsellors, who will recommend their patients to join The Hub. This can often change individuals’ outlooks on life and their understanding of their worth in the community.
Supporting Local People & Families
We have worked hard to reach everyone in the community. Some of our recent groups have allowed us to interact more with young people. Our Dementia group has both aided carers and those they care for; our group for adoptive parents and their children has given endless support, and if you look at our Activities Calendar & Weekly Timetable, you can see just how many support groups have found a safe space to centralise their great work.
Continuing to Grow
Hampton Inspired Hub has received many letters of gratitude from individuals and groups, and continues to expand our services to reach more people.
